Request Financial Aid from the Edgar Family Foundation

Welcome to the Edgar Family Foundation's Financial Aid Request page. We are dedicated to supporting elite soccer players who aspire to play at higher levels. If you meet our eligibility criteria, we encourage you to apply for financial assistance to help with your training, travel, and tournament expenses. 

To qualify for financial aid, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Age Requirement: Applicants must be 12 years old, boys and girls.
2. Academic Performance: Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. This is a crucial requirement as many colleges require a GPA of at least 3.0 or even 3.5.
3. Competitive League: Applicants must play in an elite league such as MLS, EA, or ECNL. We recognize the significant travel commitments these leagues demand.
4. Personal Statement: Applicants must provide a personal statement regarding the financial need.
5. Media Consent: Applicants must agree to allow the Foundation to use their story, image, name, and likeness on our social media channels.

Follow these steps to apply for financial aid:

• Proof of GPA: Submit your latest report card or school transcript.
• Proof of Participation: Provide a letter from your coach or team manager confirming your participation in an elite league.

Your statement should cover the following points:

• Describe how financial assistance from the Edgar Family Foundation will help you achieve your soccer and academic goals.
• Highlight any financial challenges you or your family are facing that make this assistance necessary.

Include a signed consent form allowing the Foundation to use your story, image, name, and likeness on our social media channels.

Send your statement, required documents, and media consent form via email or mail to the Edgar Family Foundation. Ensure your application includes your full name, contact information, and any additional information that might support your request.
